To the person(s) not having the best time in life right now. There’s hope. Even with the storms you may be experiencing in this season, there is an anchor for your soul, JESUS. He calms the seas, the winds and waves obey Him, He restores, protects, and carries us in our weakest moments (one set of footprints in the sand). Most importantly, He loves us. Despite what you’re facing today, take courage and remind yourself that there’s hope.
Sometimes, things happen in our lives not because we’ve done anything wrong, they happen to bring something good from the bad. Reflect on Romans 8:28 and consider all the things that happened to Joseph. He was sold into slavery, accused of attempted rape and sent to prison. However, at the end he was able to say it worked out for good.
This hope allows us to look past our season and wait for God’s good plans to come to fruition. Despite how you may feel about your current season, God sees beyond it and will work it out for your good. Your season is just a moment of transition, it won’t last forever. Make a deliberate choice to walk with one foot in front of the other remembering that you have HOPE. It will be worth it after all so just breathe, smile and embrace the process even if it isn’t how you imagined or how you’d prefer it. You have a hope in Christ. Cling to this HOPE.
This is hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. – Hebrews 6:19
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. – Genesis 50:20
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
